West Oahu Community FCU has joined the Hawaii Network for Shared Branching, a cooperative network of 16 credit unions across the state of Hawaii that shares its branches with each other. Beginning SEPTEMBER 2, 2008, you will be able to use any of the 52 (43 on Oahu, 6 on the Big Island, 1 on Kauai, 2 on Maui) participating credit union shared branches.
If there is one word that can be applied to Shared Branching, it would have to be convenience. Shared Branching gives you the option of conducting select transactions at the offices of other participating credit unions, just as if you were right in the lobby of your own Credit Union’s branch. This affords you expanded hours and locations, which will make it more convenient to your schedule. Many of the shared branches are open later during the day AND open on Saturday to assist you when you cannot get to your credit union during regular office hours.
That’s right! You will now have 52 branch locations to conduct selected financial transactions at no additional cost to you. You no longer have to worry about beating the afternoon traffic to reach one of our three branches. You can go to a Shared Branching location that is convenient for you. To access your account at a Shared Branching location, be sure to tell the participating credit union you’re with West Oahu Community FCU (WOCFCU) and provide them with your WOCFCU account number (NOT your ATM card number) and US/State Government issued picture identification with signature and valid expiration date.
