Barbers PT/Kalaeloa Branch Relocates
Due to the Navy’s recent transfer of our building lease to a private entity, the Barbers PT/Kalaeloa Branch operation has relocated to the Ewa and Waianae Branches effective Monday January 25th.
On Saturday, January 23, 2010 we successfully relocated the back office computer systems. Personal Touch, Personal e-branch and Shared Branching services were restored later that day. Your ATM, Visa Debit Cards and Visa Credit Cards are fully operational. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your loyalty to your credit union.
Branch Locations / Hours of Operation
The hours of operation at the Ewa branch is Monday – Friday, 9 – 5 pm; it is located next to Zippys at 91-1717B Fort Weaver Rd. The hours of operation at the Waianae Branch are Monday – Thursday 9 – 5 pm and Friday 9 – 6 pm; it is located in the Waianae Mall next to Radioshack at 86-120 Farrington Hwy B-205.
Remember that we continue to provide an additional 54 statewide shared branch locations to conduct selected financial transactions at no additional cost to you. Shared Branching allows you to visit these branches and perform transactions as if you were right at your own Credit Union's branch. Contact us to get your list of shared branching locations.
VISA DEBIT CARDS ARE HERE!
West Oahu Community FCU is excited to announce the launching of our Visa Debit Card. To get your new Visa Debit Card visit one of our 3 branches. You can also mail, fax or email your request with your name, account number and Signature. We will not accept any request’s over the phone due to the risk involved with identity theft and potential fraud.
Enjoy the convenience of having your checkbook and ATM Card all rolled into one. With your Visa Debit Card you will never have to write a check again. Your Visa Debit Card will be accepted at every Visa merchant worldwide, even the Visa merchants that don’t accept personal checks.
To take advantage of our new Visa Debit Card you will need a Sharedraft checking account. If you don’t have a Sharedraft checking account, now is the time to open one. A Sharedraft Checking account makes it easier to access your money. There are no minimum balance requirements to open or maintain this account.
Due to a recent upgrade with our ATM network, your ATM card temporarily may not work at Point of Sale Merchant locations. If you encounter this problem please report the Merchant Name, Location and date of transaction to us at 682-4511. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
To prevent any potential problems with your ATM card at merchant locations, now is the perfect time to switch over to a Visa Debit Card. The upgrade has not affected our Visa Debit Cards. Your Visa Debit Card will be accepted at every Visa merchant worldwide. Stop by any one of our 3 branches to order a Visa Debit Card, or you may send us your request in writing with your signature.
